You will provide the strategic guidance and direction needed to build on our success as the global recognised scheme for the protection of oil, gas and chemical workers in offshore and onshore environments. Beyond preparing business plans and maximising revenue flows, you will actively create the kind of environment that attracts and retains some of the best talent in the industry. You will also maintain strong client relationships, generate new market opportunities and keep us at the forefront of the industry with R&D led products and services that comply with all statutory requirements. Developing powerful marketing, risk management and quality management solutions will be other vital aspects of your brief.

What we’re looking for

  • A degree-level education in a management discipline or a recognised professional qualification
  • Proven experience and success in a senior-level role in a related industry, including a strong track record in people management
  • A high level of commercial awareness that includes effective stakeholder management, business development and strategic marketing skills
  • Good financial management knowledge supported by excellent communication and IT skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Any experience within the oil and gas sector, and a knowledge of relevant certification requirements, would be a distinct advantage
