Business Development Manager

It’s about telling the story of your brand in a way that makes potential partners care and inspires them to take action – and that’s exactly what you will do when you join CompEx as a Business Development Manager.

CompEx is the globally recognised safety training scheme for people who work in potentially explosive environments, so we clearly have a compelling marketing proposition. You will build on this strength by identifying new commercial opportunities and supporting our existing channel partners. Cultivating good working relationships with training centres, employers and industry associations will be a vital part of this challenge. 

But that’s just the start. We will also rely on you to work with our product development and marketing teams to research new audiences and audiences, manage the onboarding of new centres and create effective sales and collateral material. In addition, you will account manage existing centre partners and contribute to all aspects of pricing, product and strategy development.

Along with a technical or engineering qualification to Level 3 or above, you will ideally have experience of international business development in a vocational education or training environment. Your solid understanding of the marketing and business development process will certainly be supported by first-class communication and IT skills. Innovative thinking and the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team are essential. You must also have a valid UK passport and driving licence and the ability to travel in the UK and internationally as required.
